We provide basic information such as "Why is stockpiling necessary?" and "How much stockpile is needed?" as well as information about the functions available on this site.
Based on information such as the number of family members, your and your family's sex and age group, and your housing environment, a list of required stockpile items and quantities is displayed. You can purchase each item on an e-commerce site, or print/save the list on your device and use it as a shopping list.
※Tokyo Stockpile Navi does not aim to broker specific products or purchase destinations, or to endorse or advertise their functions or efficacy. Please also be careful of spoofed products or websites using the name of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Based on the list of stockpile items and quantities shown in "Find out the adequate stockpiling for you," this feature lets you check your actual stockpile status.
By entering the quantity and expiration date for each item, you can record and update your stockpile status and check how sufficient your stockpile is against the recommended amount.
After checking your stockpile status, you can answer questions to calculate your stockpile score and share the result on social media.
TSN publishes helpful articles such as “What are anticipated to happen when a major natural disaster occurs,” “Examples of emergency stockpiles and tips for stockpiling,” and “Useful hazard maps and menu plans for better disaster preparedness.” Given disaster preparedness efforts may vary by household, it would be useful to refer to these articles, in addition to the above-said list and quantities of items.
Hazard maps of each municipality in Tokyo and related information are posted.
TSN posts links to related websites such as “Useful Information Websites in the Event of a Disaster,” “Links to Related Organizations,” “Helpful Related Information Websites,” and “Safety Confirmation in the Event of a Disaster.” Please utilize the list of links to get more information about disaster prevention and stockpiling.
